Who we are
Kingswell Energy is a UK residential solar enquiry service. We are the data controller for the information you provide through this website. You can reach us at hello@kingswellenergy.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, telephone number and postcode.
- Property information you provide in the assessment, such as property and roof type, shading and approximate energy usage.
- Your marketing preferences and consent records.
- Technical data such as IP address, device type and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To progress your enquiry — consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you make.
- To arrange your eligibility call and, where appropriate, an introduction to our MCS-certified installation partner — consent.
- To send optional marketing — only where you have separately opted in. You can withdraw at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve the website — legitimate interests, and consent for non-essential cookies.
Who we share it with
Where you ask us to proceed, we share your enquiry with our MCS-certified installation partner so they can arrange a technical survey, design and quotation. We also use service providers for hosting, email, telephony and analytics, who process data on our instructions only.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not distribute it to panels of unrelated third-party brokers.
Advertising
We advertise on platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Where you have accepted non-essential cookies, these platforms may receive limited event data about your visit to help us measure and improve our advertising. You can withdraw this consent at any time through our cookie settings.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
